PATIENT CENTERED

A referral is not necessary for scheduling an appointment with me. I’m an out-of-network naturopathic provider with Oregon insurance companies. On request, I can provide a coded slip for you to submit for reimbursement to your insurance company. Being an out-of- network provider enables me to spend more time with you, addressing your specific health needs, and developing your individualized treatment plan(s). Naturopathic physicians are not recognized under Medicare in any state; as medicare is a federal program that requires continuity in state licensing. I offer in-person visits, telemedicine (Oregon only) and phone consultations.

Payment is due in full at time of service. If you have an insurance plan that covers naturopathic medicine, as mentioned above you may submit a super-bill to your insurance provider for out-of-network reimbursement. For payment you can utilize an HSA card (health savings account credit card), cash, check (in-person visits only) or personal credit card (all major cards accepted with a 4.0% processing fee). Prescribed medications, laboratory or diagnostic tests may be covered by insurance; and, therefore, would not require payment at time of service. For your first visit with me expect to spend 1–1.5 hrs depending on your personal health complexity. Return visits are usually 30-60 min. Often you can expect to see some improvement in your condition within 1-3 visits. Fees are based on time and complexity of the condition being treated. For more information regarding cost of services please contact me, Dr. McNiel, via office telephone at 541-535-9200, or through my website’s contact page.

I sincerely look forward to working with you!
