PATIENT CENTERED
I’m an out-of-network naturopathic provider with Oregon insurance companies. I offer in-person visits, telemedicine (Oregon only) and phone consultations. On request, I can provide a coded slip for you to submit for reimbursement with your insurance company. To develop your individualized treatment plan, being an out-of- network provider enables me to spend more time addressing your specific health needs. Naturopathic physicians are not recognized under Medicare in any state to provide care; as medicare is a federal program that requires continuity in state licensing. However, some Medicare Advantage plans may reimburse for my services, and Medicare part D will cover approved medications I prescribe.
Payment for medical consultations is due in full at time of service. For payment, you may utilize your HSA card (health savings account credit card), cash or check (in-person visits only), personal credit or debit card (all major cards accepted with a 4.0% processing fee). Prescribed medications, laboratory or diagnostic tests may be covered by insurance. For your first visit expect to spend 1–1.5 hrs, depending on your health complexity. Return visits are typically 30-60 min. Often you can expect to see some improvement in your condition after 1-3 visits. Fees are based on time and complexity of the condition(s) treated. For information on cost of services, please contact Dr. McNiel at 541-535-9200, or through the website contact page.
